On a sad note, a a primary school teacher in Mchinji identified as Dennis Banda,34 has taken his own life following marital misunderstandings with his wife.
According to Education Manager for Mchinji, Nellie Kamtedza, said the deceased, who was working under Ludzi Zone, had a suicide note in his pocket.
Station Officer for Mchinji, James Mpezeni confirmed the development saying before his death, the deceased appears to have had marital problems.
Band was operating at Kangwere Primary School in the district.
