Police in Balaka have confirmed the death of a teenage boy Sunday night after he drowned in a swimming pool at a lodge in Balaka.
Balaka Police Officer In-Charge Dan Sausten, said details remain sketchy as police are still gathering facts.
According eyewitnesses, the boy fell into the pool and hit his head against the floor before being pulled out by well-wishers.
He was later taken to Balaka hospital.
