A 19 year old man of Zambia Compound in Mazabuka has allegedly stabbed to death his friend’s wife, who was seven months pregnant, while his girlfriend who is six months pregnant is battling for her life in Mazabuka General Hospital after also being stabbed.
Byta FMs Evans Liyali reports that the suspect has been identified as Smart Chatila and is believed to have stabbed the two between 23:00 hours Tuesday and 01:00 hours, Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Wendy Kandela, while the suspect’s girlfriend is Bertha Meenda.
According to an eye witness, the suspect got annoyed when the husband to the deceased greeted his girlfriend in the afternoon.
The suspect then went home and stabbed his wife, leaving her unconscious.
Meanwhile, aunty to the deceased, Felicitus Mungule, has demanded for justice in the matter.
