Dedza District Social welfare officer Edward Chisanga has pleaded with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) and other well-wishers to consider supporting boy child in the district.
Chisanga’s plea follows a report that at least four hundred and forty students are not in school due to lack of school fees among others.
According to Chisanga, out of four hundred and forty students, two hundred seventy one are males and one hundred and sixty nine are females.
Chisanga added that boys have limited support from organizations hence a call for well-wishers to consider supporting the boy child.
