President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera’s busy schedule has forced organizing committee of this year’s Gonapamuhanya cultural festival to postpone it to November 26, 2022.
Chairperson for the organising committee Group village headman Mchinanguwo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Chief Mchinanguwo, the cultural grouping wants President Lazarus Chakwera to attend the ceremony.
He said the grouping received communication from government that this weekend the president will be engaged with other duties hence the change of date.
This will be the first cultural festival for the newly installed Paramount Chief Chikulamayembe the 13th.
