Limbe-Mkando-Chisitu road has been closed until Wednesday, November 23 this week due to maintenance works of Thuchila Bailey Bridge.
The Roads Authority (RA) has advised those travelling between Limbe and Chisitu to use Limbe-Thyolo-Muloza road.
Roads Authority spokesperson Portia Kajanga said the bridge will be used after maintenance,
According to Kajanga, they will replace the old timber on the bridge with fresh ones.
“The road is temporarily closed due to the maintenance of the bridge, we are replacing the timber so that the bridge should be safe for everyone to use.” She said
