Death has been announced Sister Esther Maida who belonged to Servants of the Blessed Virgin Mary (SBVM).

According to information at hand, Sister Maida died this morning at Nguludi Hospital in Chiradzulu district after a short illness.

“Servants of the Blessed Virgin Mary (SBVM) Sisters announce with deep sorrow the passing on of Sr. Esther Maida, this morning of 22nd November, 2022 at Nguludi Hospital.

“The remains of late Sr. Esther Maida will be taken from College of Medicine on THURSDAY, 24th November, 2022 at 7:30am to Maryview Formation Center. The funeral mass will start at 10:00am on the same day,” reads in part the statement.

The body of Maida will be laid to rest this coming Thursday at Mary View in Chiradzulu.

Reverend Sister Esther Maida was born on October 19, 1994.
