President Lazarus Chakwera will soon announce the reconstitution of the remaining  twenty two boards that left after he reconstituted the seven board whose terms expired in September 2022.

Peter Sambani, Comptroller of Statutory Corporations said this in an interview with the press.

“The remaining twenty two boards are still under examination and they will soon be announced”, said Sambani.

According to Peter Samabani, President  Chakwera has reconstituted the National Oil Company of Malawi (NOCMA), Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) and National Food Reserve Agency just to mention few.

President Chakwera has maintained Mrs. Colleen Zamba as Board Chair of NOCMA and other members are  Ex Officio Dr. M. M. Mwale, Ex Officio Member Mr A. Chikuni and Board Non Executive Director Mr. N. Nyirongo.

The President has also maintained the board Chair of Sports Council Sunduzwayo Madise but he has roped in Silver Strikers CEO Thokozani Chimbali as member and former broadcaster at MBC Chisomo Mwamadi as member as well.
