Member of Parliament (MP) for Thyolo Thava constituency for the former ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Mary Thom Navicha has demanded immediate suspension of Secretary to the President and Cabinet (SPC) Colleen Zamba.
Navicha made the demand following Zamba’s alleged involvement in the National Oil Company (NOCMA) Limited saga.
Former deputy Chief Executive Officer for NOCMA, Hellen Buluma has accused Zamba of influencing fraudulent fuel deals.
According to Buluma, who is appearing before Public Appointments Committee (PAC) of Parliament, Zamba was serving Buluma with names of people to be considered n fuel deals of which Buluma described them as illegal.
Thom also proposed security to be provided for former deputy chief executive officer for NOCMA Hellen Buluma and members of the Public Accounts Committee.
