The Anti- Corruption Bureau (ACB) has said it will investigate claims made by former National Oil Company of Malawi (Nocma) deputy Chief Executive Officer Hellen Buluma.
Buluma told the Public Appointments Committee (Pac) of Parliament on Wednesday that she was receiving pressure from Secretary to the President and Cabinet Colleen Zamba to sign dubious fuel procurement deals.
ACB spokesperson Egrita Ndala said the Bureau will generate the complaint using the information that is in public domain.
Zamba on Wednesday refused to appear before PAC.
Meanwhile, some right activists have asked President Lazarus Chakwera to fire Zamba.
