HIV and Aids Coordinator for Rumphi Police, Sub Inspector Sulten Simwaka has told commercial sex workers to report any form of abuse they get to the police in the course of doing their business.

Simwaka said this during an interaction with the group.

According to secretary for Rumphi Sex Workers Association Chrissy Moyo, some clients take advantage of the sex workers thinking they do not know about their rights and they have nowhere to report.

Moyo said the sex workers face a lot of challenges like not being paid by customers, harsh treatment by the clients and many other challenges.
