Reports are indicating the country’s vice president Saulos Chilima will appear before the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) this morning.
Chilima will be interviewed on matters of national interests.
Mid this year, he was named in the ACB’s report as one of the persons involved in corruption activities by UK based businessman Zuneth Sattar who is answering corruption charges in UK and a person of interest on the same in Malawi.
Chilima has denied the allegations and expressed his interest for open investigations on the matter.
Meanwhile, there is a heavy security presence at the ACB offices in Lilongwe.
