Head teacher for Kasuza Primary school, Steven Nyirenda has thanked the Kapiri Community Development Organization (KACODO) for donating 44 desks to Kasuza Primary School in Mchinji.
KACODO with support from Action Aid donated 44 desks worthy k4.4 million.
Nyirenda appreciated the gift from KACODO and has asked all well-wishers to help Kasuza Primary since 44 desks are not enough for the learners.
Director for Kapiri Community Development Organization, Linda Nkhoma said they made the donation because the school was in need of desks.
Nkhoma said, “We thought it wise to donate desks at Kasuza since the school has no desks and the desks will encourage learners to stay in school.”
Mchinji District Education Manager, Nellie Kamtedza also praised the organization for the donation.
Kamtadza asks for other organization to work with government in promoting education and to stop misusing funds provided by the government.
