The Magistrate’s Court in Blantyre has released on bail the Chief Registration officer for National Registration Bureau (NRB) Asante Mussa.
Mussa was arrested for duplicating a national ID for two different bearers.
National Police Publicist, Peter Kalaya, has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kalaya, the suspect has since been charged with abuse of office, forgery and altering documents.
