A 33- year old Man identified as Edson Mzumara of Kawaza mawe village tradition authority Chikulamayembe, has died after being hit by a cruise motor vehicle at Chikwawa Trading Centre in Rumphi last night.
Rumphi police spokesperson Sergeant Tupeliwe Kabwilo has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According Kabwilo, the motor vehicle registration number CP 10179 Suzuki Alto Saloon was coming from Bolero heading Rumphi Boma with passengers on board.
The driver of the vehicle has since been arrested.
