BLACKOUT HITS BALAKA BOMA

For three weeks now some residents of Majiga and Kadengwe areas around Balaka Boma have stayed without electricity due to a faulty transformer.
Dyson Gandazi, one of the residents, said the situation has really affected a lot of people especially those plying business to help themselves on a daily basis.
Facing the same problem is Neno district specifically Kambale trading center.
Reports has it that the trading centre has stayed for over a year now without electricity.
Electricity Supply Corporation of Malawi (ESCOM), Communications Manager Kitty Chingota, asked for more time before commenting.
