The Malawi Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs) have failed to deliver their petition to the Women Caucus of Parliament today.
The women failed to do so following a busy schedule the legislatures had today.
Activists Emma Chigwenembe, said they have shifted the date of presenting their petition to Parliament.
Women activists added that they are pleased to share a message to the country concerning violence and abuses women face in the country.
Women HRDs took to the streets in a solidarity march to call for the attention of authorities on the struggles which women activists face in the country, as well as increase visibility and recognition of the Women HRDs.
