The Taekwondo Athlete, Brave Kamanga has won Team Malawi’s first medal in the continuing African Union Sports Council Region 5 Youth Games in Lilongwe.

The results showed that Kamanga has reached the final of the men’s 48 Kg category after defeating Langton Machekanyanga from Zimbabwe and he will face an athlete either from Mozambique or Eswatini in the game competition of countries including Malawi, Zimbabwe, Eswatini and Mozambique.

Following Kamanga’s victory, the Judith Foundation congratulate him for his potential saying he is not only taking Malawi Taekwondo on the Map but also Raising High the Foundation flag and by representing Malawi is also representing all the children and youth at the Foundation.

Malawi National Council of Sports hopes that this will be the first gold medal for Malawian team.
