Information reaching this publication indicates the Malawi Airlines has purchased a new plane Boeing 737-800.

The plane has been spotted landing at Kamuzu International Airport (KIA) with passengers disembarking from the new plane.

Malawians have since taken to social media to salute the company for procuring the new plane.

Malawi Airlines is yet to comment on the matter.
