The Senior Resident Magistrate Aisha Itimu has sentenced a 38 year old man to 21 years Imprisonment with hard labor for defiling a six year old child in Nkhata Bay district.
State Prosecutor Chikondi Lipato, said the convict gave the girl 200 Kwacha and defiled her.
Following the reports from medical examination, it approved that the girl was defiled.
The sentence was passed after some five witnesses testified against him as well as the medical reports.
