Information reaching faceofmaalawi indicates that former Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Commissioner Linda Kunje is admitted at Zomba Central Hospital for unknown illness.
The development comes barely few hours after President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera pardoned Kunje who was serving an 18 months jail sentence for blocking convoy of the President.
According to inside sources, Kunje has been at the hospital for sometime now.
Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament Emmanuel Matewere has confirmed of the development in a short statement posted on his official facebook page.
“Wishing Linda Kunje a speedy recovery. May the healing hand of the Almighty God touch her for health perfection,” said Matewere.
