Well-known hip-hop star Fredokiss, real name Penjani Kalua has asked President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera to as-well pardon Mussa John who is serving a 3 year jail sentence at Chichiri Prison after being found with 78 plastics of Chamba earlier this year.
The call follows report that President Chakwera has pardoned former Commissioner of the Malawi Electoral Commission (MEC) Linda Kunje who was serving an 18 months jail sentence.
“John Mussa represents the poor majority. Anthu osauka. Kusauka si tchimo. Ku ndende si kwa anthu osauka okha. These Politicians want to provoke a reaction from the youth.
Akufuna tipange zisokonezo Kuti atimange iwowo azimwa coffee ndi ana awo. They want us to be stupid. Remember “John” is in the Bible and “Mussa” is in the Quaran. See you in 2025,” wrote Fredokiss.
Effort to talk to State House Press Officer Anthony Kasunda proved futile.
