Vice President Saulos Chilima has missed the commemoration of international anti-corruption day which took place today at Kasungu Stadium.

This comes at a time Chilima is carrying a corruption case on his head following his arrest few weeks ago.

His office did not give excuses on Chilima’s absence to the event.

Speaking at the event Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) director general Martha Chizuma sent a strong warning to some top officials in Tonse Alliance government to desist from corruption malpractices, saying once found they will face the law.

According to Chizuma, any corrupt person will face the law regardless of their status in the society.

This was Chizuma’s first public appearance after her controversial arrest earlier this which was condemned by the public and eventually her charges were dropped.
