Kaliati says UTM NEC to decide on Mwenifumbo’s replacement

United Transformation Movement (UTM) National Executive Committee (NEC) is scheduled to meet soon to fill the vacant post of the party’s publicity Secretary.
UTM Secretary General Patricia Kaliati has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Kaliati, the party is planning to meet the party’s regional and national executive committees before deciding on the position.
Frank Tumpale Mwenifumbo resigned from the post and frontline politics last month, citing personal reasons.
UTM President Saulos Chilima is yet to comment on Mwenifumbo’s resignation.
