Support staff in the Malawi judiciary have called off their strike, after reaching a compromise with minister of finance,faceofmalawi can reveal.

Judiciary Support Staff spokesperson Andy Haliwa has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.

Haliwa said that government has committed to revise their renumeration and conditions of service in the next financial year, beginning April

He said the workers have also complied with a call by Chief Justice Rizine Mzikamanda to return to work, after initially turning his request down on Tuesday.
