Lightning struck to death a 60 year old woman

Lightning strike has struck to death a 60-year old woman, Edna Jonas in Phalombe district.
Phalombe Police Spokesperson, Jimmy Kapanja, has confirmed the incident in an interview with the press.
According to Kapanja, the woman met the fate on her way from the field on Monday around Mulomba area.
He said, an autopsy report indicates death was due to electrocution.
The deceased, Jonas, came from Chitimbe Village, Traditional Authority (TA) Nkanda in Mulanje district.
