The Malawi National Examination Board (MANEB) has extended the deadline of paying for the 2023 Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE) examinations fee.
MANEB’s spokesperson Mayamiko Chiwaya confirmed the development saying the decision was reached to give room to students who want to re-sit for the national examinations.
But Chiwaya said this is for students who failed to pay the examination fees but they have already registered for the examinations.
MANEB’s decision to extend deadline for examination fees payment following public outcry asking the examinations board to consider students who want to re-sit the examinations.
Initially, MANEB had put December 16th as the deadline but now the deadline has been extended to December 31, 2022.
Commenting e-payment method introduced by the examinations board, Chiwaya said the response is overwhelming and the board is pleased with the feedback.
