President Lazarus Chakwera has encouraged Malawians not to stop trusting in God because with him everything is possible.
Chakwera said this during a national prayer event at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC) in Lilongwe.
According to Chakwera, what is impossible with man, it is possible with God.
Chakwera said, “What God has done for others in the past He can do it for us as well in the present. As we reflect on his goodness we are challenged to repent because of our evil.”
“As we recast our hope, not just for immediate future but for eternity we are grateful that God gave us this change to be able to live our life in a land so beautiful and so graciously gifted in order that we might truly love and serve Him and love and serve one another,” he added.
He added that Malawians have a reason to believe that God is always with his people and in this season of Christmas where God came down to be with his people, they must dig deep and find the will to find away.
