Reverend Billy Gama meets Chakwera at national prayers after turning down job offer

Reverend Billy Gama, a secretary General for Blantyre Synod on Wednesday met President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera for the first time after refusing a job offer from the President.
Two weeks ago President Chakwera appointed Reverend Gama as board chairperson for Lilongwe Water Board.
The appointment came barely a month after Gama asked Chakwera to offer him a job.
But Gama refused to take up the offer following criticisms from the general public.
Yesterday Reverend Gama was spotted attending the national prayers held at Bingu International Convention Centre (BICC).
He was later seen greeting the President.
