A third year student from Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (MUBAS), formerly known as Polytechnic is reportedly missing in Dedza district.
The student identified as Dickens Lester is reported to have gone missing on Thursday, December 22, 2022.
The fact of the matter is that Lester was sent to the market to buy food for casual labours who were doing a piece work at his parent house.
“Aku banja la Lester ku Dedza Mandala akupempha anthu onse kuti amene angamuwone m’bale wawo Dickens Lester awadziwitse pa number 0993525002 iyi kapena anene ku police yomwe ali nayo pafupi.
“Dickens ndiwophuzira waku Polytechnic 3rd year,” reads in part the message.
Added the message: “Ndipo dzuro mmawa ananyamuka kuchoka kunyumba kupita ku msika wa njala omwe ndi pafupi kwambiri ndiku nyumbako kukagura ndiwo zakuti agwiritse ntchito anthu omwe akucheka macheka koma sanabwerereso mpaka lero.”
