The Lilongwe Water Board (LWB) has provided granular chlorine costing K1.5 million to Lilongwe District Health Office (DHO).

The activity took place on Wednesday, December 28th, 2022.

Sili Mbewe, LWB Chief Executive Officer (CEO) said the donation is part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CRS) to help Lilongwe DHO in fighting against the increase of Cholera cases in the city.

According to Bertha Kaudza, District Nursing and Midwifery officer at the LL DHO, expressed gratitude to LWB saying the donation has come at a right time and it will help reducing the spread of the disease in the city.
