President Lazarus Chakwera and his vice Saulos Chilima have consoled the family of Wyson Laifoh alias Walycris Wanyengo who died last week with cash.

Chakwera has paid K1 million while Chilima has paid K500, 000.

Walycris Wanyengo died last week in Zimbabwe in a road accident on his way from South Africa where he was performing alongside Zembani Band.

His body has arrived in the country through Mwanza Boarder and currently it is being kept at Kamuzu University of Health Science (KUHES) mortuary in Blantyre.

Burial of Walycris Wanyengo’s remains is expected to take place tomorrow in Machinjiri.

The 25 year old musician was famed with his Achalume track and was loved by many for his Yao flavored music.
