A child has died following a road accident that took place at Mlangeni in Ntcheu whereby a minibus and a truck collided, Saturday afternoon.
Eye witnesses said the truck driver tried to overtake another vehicle and in the process the truck collided with the minibus.
Ntcheu District Medical Officer, Dr. William Chimsanga said the child’s age range is between six to eight.
According to Chimsanga, the minor died upon arrival at the district hospital due to several injuries on the deceased body.
Chimsanga said six other people are at the facility admitted after sustaining some serious injuries.
