Minister of Education Agnes Nyalonje has said Maranatha Private Schools risk complete closure for breaking laws defined under the Education Act of 2013.
According to Nyalonje, yesterday ministry of education had disciplinary hearing on the case with authorities from Maranatha academy for transferring school without following proper regulations.
She has since urged other schools to follow laws so that children are fully protected.
The school relocated to Zalewa and Balaka days after the order for an extended closure due to cholera was announced.
