Police confirms arrest of fake nurse busted at QECH

Police in Blantyre have confirmed arresting Amanda Mhango for allegedly impersonating a public officer.
Blantyre Police Station spokesperson Peter Mchiza said Mhango was putting on a lab coat and attending to patients at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital’s surgery department although she does not work at the facility.
According to Mchiza, the police are still investigating on the motive behind her actions.
She is currently in police custody pending court appearance to be charged with impersonating a public officer.
