In Nsanje, police have launched a manhunt for unknown assailants who have strangled to death a business woman, Telinya Zuze, aged 32, from Binzi village under Traditional Authority Ndamera in the district.
The district’s Police Spokesperson, Sub-Inspector, Agnes Zalakoma said that Telinya used to ply her trade at Mtowe trading center and was discovered dead this morning.
She said, Telinya was a well-known business woman who used to sell vegetables at Mtowe and on Thursday, 12 January 2023, she went to the market for her business as usual. After her business, she went for beer drinking.
Zalakoma said, the deceased did not report back home until this morning when she was found lying down whilst dead. postmortem indicates death is due to strangulation.
