The National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited (NEEF) has hailed Mangochi district saying it is currently doing well in loan repayment.
Reports from Neef is indicating that the district is having about 80 percent record of refunding loan.
NEEF Chief Executive Officer, Humphrey Mdyetseni, said most of the groups who got loans from the organization in the district are repaying without difficulties.
However, NEEF donated K2.5 million kwacha to a group of women under Parents of Disabled Children Association of Malawi (PODCAM) who collected a loan to do business.
The funded money will be used to continue taking care of their Children.
PODCAM Director in the district, Mary Time, said the money will help them to take care of the children at a day care and nursery school the women opened for their kids.
