Minister of Gender, children and community development, Patricia Kaliati said she will reward anyone who will report the information about the suspects who raped and murdered a school girl aged 12 in Thyolo.
Kaliati has pledged K500, 000 to anyone who will give detailed information that will lead to the arrest of the suspects.
Kaiati said this after consoling the family of the murdered standard 8 leaner at Kasembereka estates in the district.
The family of the deceased wants justice for the girl.
It was reported that the girl was a learner at Ntambanyama Primary School and she was abducted after she had attended part-time lessons on January 16, 2023.
Her body was found on January 17, 2023 near Namitete river banks in the area of Senior chief Khwethemule with both arms and legs bound.
Police in Thyolo have already arrested four men who are suspected that they were involved in the act of murdering the school girl.
The child hailed from Ganiza village in the area of Traditional Authority Kapichi.
