A tragic incident occurred this morning at Kameza roundabout in Blantyre when a truck caused a carnage involving at least eight vehicles.
According to Chileka police station Officer-In-charge Goodwin Chigalu Sambo, the incident resulted in one death and multiple injuries.
The deceased is a woman who was a roadside Banana and Pineapple seller, over ten people have been rushed to Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital for medical attention.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
Meanwhile, the police have urged people to be cautious when driving and to obey traffic laws to prevent accidents.
