Masauko Edwin Chamkakala, the new appointed Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) has said the feud between his office and the Anti-Corruption bureau (ACB) will come to an end once he is confirmed.

Chamkakala said this after he appeared before Parliament’s Public  Appointments Committee (PAC) this afternoon for interviews on his newly given post.

“Consider that problem as history,” Chamkakala told the press.

However, he remained mum on how the interviews went.

Apart from Chamkakala, PAC interviewed the newly appointed deputy DG of the ACB Hilary Chilomba.

He was appointed by President Lazarus Chakwera replacing Steve Kayuni who was relieved off his duties.
