Information reaching faceofmalawi indicates that  over 20 members of parliament from the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) United Democratic Front (UDF) are holding vigils at Smallholder Farmers Fertilizer Revolving Fund in Blantyre to push for the release of UREA fertilizers under Affordable Input Program to their subjects.

Spokesperson of the parliamentarians, Esther Jolobala of Machinga East constituency blames the government of unequal distribution of the commodity.

The MPs are now chanting songs and preparing meals at the premises.

Meanwhile, heavy armed police officers have invaded the premises.
