Prophet David Mbewe of Living Word Evangelical Church has has asked President Lazarus Chakwera to dissolve his cabinet and appoint a new “leaner one” as he promised earlier this month.
Chakwera had on January 18, set himself a January deadline with now just less than 36 hours left on the clock.
In the statement released on Monday made available to this publication Prophet Mbewe said a lean cabinet will improve government business and act as an austerity measure to government spending.
Effort to talk to State House Press Officer Anthony Kasunda proved futile.
Meanwhile, President Chakwera remain with few hours to honour his promise on Cabinet reshuffle.
