President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera has loped in Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) Member of Parliament for Chikwawa North Constituency Owen Chomanika as one of his Cabinet members.
Chakwera has appointed Chomanika as Deputy Minister of Local Government, Unity, and Culture.
The appointment of Chomanika has attracted mixed reactions with many Malawians claiming that Chakwera has done so to bring confusion in the opposition DPP.
Chomanika is yet to comment on his appointment.
