Police in Blantyre have arrested Director of Wonder Care Nursery School, Mayamiko Nzeru, and a teacher, Michael Wilesi, for alleged criminal negligence.
Spokesperson for Blantyre Police Station, Peter Mchiza has confirmed of the development in an interview with the press.
According to Mchiza, the two have been arrested in connection to the death of a child, one of six learners who were injured after a classroom wall fell on them yesterday at Nancholi township.
Meanwhile, the injured learners are currently admitted at Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital.
