Death has been announced of well-known Master of Ceremony (MC) Jonathan Thera, a devoted member of the Nsungwi CCAP Church under Nkhoma MCSynod in Lilongwe.
Nsungwi CCAP Church Secretariat has confirmed of the development in a short statement posted on its official facebook page.
“Mwachisoni tikulengeza za infa ya mmodzi mwa akhristu apa mpingo pathu, Bambo Jonathan Thera. Iwo amwalira kucha kwalero atadwala kwa masiku ochepa. Maliro wa anyamula lero kupita ku mzimba komwe aikidwe mmanda mawa. Pepani,” reads part of the statement.
According to information at hand, Thera died of high blood pressure.
Thera will be laid to rest at his home village on Saturday in Mzimba.
