Patriotic Front (PF) presidential hopeful, Chishimba Kambwili and Charles Kakula have been released on police bond pending court appearance.
The duo were arrested and jointly charged with unlawful assembly over a protest which was led by Mr Kakula to Dr Kambwili s house on January 26th this year.
It is alleged that the two whilst acting together with other unknown persons did Unlawfully assemble causing other persons to reasonably fear for the breach of public peace.
Zambia police deputy spokesperson Danny Mwale said today that the duo has since been released on police bond.
“The duo has been released on Police Bond pending court appearance,” Mr Mwale said.
