A man from Perth, Australia, has been arrested for getting married to multiple women while still being legally married to his first wife.
He separated from his first wife but did not get a divorce before marrying his second wife in 2020, which is against the law.
He also married a third woman without getting a divorce from his second wife. The police started investigating after his first wife told the second wife about his deception.
The man will go to court for bigamy, which is a criminal offense in Australia with a maximum penalty of up to seven years in prison.
