Young people in Mzuzu city are lacking knowledge to champion mindset change in various initiative programs.

This has been revealed following a baseline survey conducted by the Mzuzu Youth Anti-Corruption Movement.

The survey has also found that there is a huge gap for the youth to do advocacy programs as only 30% of the participants were able to explain the linkages between mindset change and anti-corruption.

“The findings are worrisome and we launched a Youth for a Culture of Integrity project which will strengthen stakeholder coordination in the implementation of mindset change initiatives targeting the youth not only here in Mzuzu,” said Team leader for the movement.

The baseline survey was implemented to assess young people’s knowledge and skills that are relevant to encouraging stakeholder coordination in implementing mindset change initiatives programs.
