Police at Chileka International Airport in Blantyre have arrested a 24-year-old woman in possession of 3 kilograms of illicit drugs,
The suspect intercepted when she allegedly attempted to export to South Korea through a courier service.
Public Relations Officer for Chileka Airport Police, Sub-Inspector Dorrah Chathyoka says, they have since arrested, Everrette Phombeya, who had concealed Ephedrine drugs in a hot dog roller machine destined for the Asian country.
Chathyoka says, the suspect will appear in court to answer charges of possessing of dangerous drugs without permit.
