The newly released hit single by well-known reggae star Arnold Nyoponyopo, real name Arnold Nyirenda, titled ‘Chaka Cha Mawa Tionana’ has become the household song for many Malawians, faceofmalawi has observed.
The song was released last month through Malawi-music.com, a popular website in Malawi which was solely designed with an aim of promoting local talents in the country.
Since its release last month, the song seems to be a hotcake on the market as a day cannot pass without being played on radio and other music outlets in the country.
In ‘Chaka Chamawa Tionana‘, the artist is warning politicians especially in the current regime under President Dr. Lazarus Chakwera that they will be answerable to Malawians in the forthcoming polls for failing to fulfill their campaign promises.
In the same song also the artist is urging married men to take good care of their wives.
Speaking to faceofmalawi reporter Nyoponyopo saluted Malawians for the support rendered to the song.
“Yes it’s true this song has won hearts of many. This song has a message that if you don’t listen it properly you won’t understand the point but it’s a song that I’m reminding people in marriages and in office that they must remember that there is tomorrow,” said Nyoponyopo.
Nyoponyopo has since promised fireworks in 2023.
“I urge Malawians to keep to continue supporting my new project,, because I’m here not to disappoint them but to entertain them,” added Nyoponyopo.
The artist also released ‘Zilibe Ntchito’ hit song in which the singer is encouraging lovers not to listen to what others say regarding their loved ones.
Currently the artist is working on 5th album which is being produced by Apex of Real Sound Studio in the capital Lilongwe.
The album will be released in April this year.
